Overview
Having worked with 2bm on a number of successful data centre installs, Camelot were once again instructed by 2bm to provide their services on a data centre refurbishment at The Cambridge Institute for Medical Research (CIMR). 2bm were appointed to complete the transformation of a redundant chemical store into a state-of-the-art server room.
Our Installation
Camelot were instructed to design, supply, install and, commission the electrical portion of the data centre installation at the CIMR, adhering to a tight programme. Working in a live hospital environment posed a number of problems including noise pollution, delivery timing and access to the site. The Camelot team worked alongside the client to plan and execute the installation with minimal disruption.

Power to a 1MW generator
Back up to DC and all UPS
A&B supply to data rack
Environmental monitoring system installation
